Alpha – exploring the Christian Faith

Everyone has questions …

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their point of view; wherever they are in the world.

During May and June, at HIC we ran an Alpha group each Sunday early afternoon. It started start with a light lunch meal together at 13.00 followed by an interactive session watching the Alpha media clips, looking at what the Bible teaches, sharing our questions and learning together.

We are planning to run the Alpha course again later this year. If you would like to do Alpha with us, and take this opportunity to explore the Christian Faith for yourself, then get in touch and register your interest. We are looking at what day and time would suit people, so registering will give you a chance to name a few time slots that would suit you!

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
